Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas warned the Arab League summit in Tunis on Sunday, "of Israel's attempts to push some of the countries of the world to transfer their embassy to Jerusalem. Israel's goal of freezing our funds and stopping United States aid is to pressure us, but we will not give up."

Regarding American recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, he said, "The United States removed the issues of the settlements, the refugees and UNRWA from the table, and concluded with the principle of two states. What will later come from the United States is more dangerous - it will annex our lands to Israel and strive to establish a kind of state in which Hamas will play."
