Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz prayed Thursday evening at the Western Wall along with his party's candidates.
"When they liberated the Wall, I was only 8 years old. The paratroopers who fought came here, not on the right or the left, but on behalf of the people of Israel," Gantz said.
"Even in times of political turmoil, there are things that are far more significant than our entire debate. We wish the people of Israel that we will be able to pass through the near future, connected to each other," he added.
