In a post on Twitter, Speaker of the Knesset Yui Edelstein commented on his hosting of President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović, writing:
"Today I hosted in the Knesset Mr. Milo Đukanović president of Montenegro. I thanked him for his support of the Jewish community, and for holding a memorial event on Holocaust Remembrance Day for the first time in the country."
"We discussed possibilities for expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, security, and tourism, which will strengthen the ties between Israel and the Balkans. In the next Knesset, we will continue to strengthen Israel's international standing!" added Speaker Edelstein.
