Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Aviv Kochavi held a situation assessment in the Gaza Division with Southern Commander Major General Hartzi Halevi, Gaza Division Commander Brigadier General Eliezer Toledano, and other commanders.
In assessing the situation the Chief of Staff discussed force readiness for various scenarios in the sector, as well as readiness of reinforcements arriving in the last few days and operational plans.
