In a post on Twitter, co-chairman of the New Right party called for the destruction of Hamas, writing:
"We have to crush Hamas. It is possible. To reset the array of rockets and missiles. We will liquidate terrorists and we will not destroy terrorists' real estate. We eliminated the previous Hamas leader in a wheelchair. This is the only language the terrorists understand. They will not bomb our children without daring to tremble. The blood of a Jewish child cannot be abandoned."
"You have to shake the system. I have presented a plan of action for long-term treatment. Yesterday I slept in a kibbutz in the Gaza envelope, as I always do when firing rockets. Children there grow up in trauma, 200,000 students remain hostage at home because of Hamas."
"I asked the prime minister to convene the cabinet tonight, in view of the disgrace vis-à-vis Hamas.
The cabinet, of which I am a part, is the supreme commander of the army.
And the disgrace in Gaza must be stopped.
In the cabinet, I will know how to push for a mortal blow to Hamas, just as I knew to destroy the tunnels. "
