Gaza-area resident and Member of Knesset Haim Jelin (Labor) said, Tuesday morning, "We had a hard night," due to incoming fire from Gaza terrorists.

Jelin added, "The terrorist attacks on the Gaza perimeter only signal to the cabinet that they want to end this cycle. The Israeli government, which is being dragged into Hamas dictates has two options: either to surrender and reach a ceasefire - because unfortunately the rules for the Gaza perimeter are not identical to the general rules for the State of Israel - or we can enter another round which will weaken Hamas, and as a result we will reach an arrangement from a position of strength, not from a position of weakness, as we have been dragged into during the past year."
