Itamar Ben-Gvir, a candidate for the United Right list, responded to the attack on the home in Sharon: "For every missile fired at the State of Israel, whether on Sharon or the south, Israel must respond and take the lives of thirty terrorists in targeted killings."
"Israel has no real alternative but to return to Gaza. This should be done after the air force has cleared the ground and allows reasonable conditions for a return, but today everyone understands that the expulsion of Gush Katif was not only a moral mistake and a concession to the Land of Israel, but also a failing security move that must be remedied."
