Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, has responded to the burning of a bus at the Jit junction as a result of a firebomb thrown by Arabs, by saying, "Another attempted attack, again a miracle. And what is the government's response? Cutting the number of soldiers in Judea and Samaria, refusing to fill gaps of 400 million shekels in security budgets, and today, the record of records: they want to close Magen David Adom stations in Judea and Samaria because of a dispute over NIS 5 million."

Dagan added, "The MDA station, which was to close at 15:00 today, was the one which rushed to assist tonight in the attempted attack at the Jit Junction. It would not have taken much for this evening to end completely differently. We demand that the government to wake up and stop the theater of the absurd in Judea and Samaria."
