Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during a briefing for Israeli journalists in Washington on Sunday. Gantz said, "I watched Netanyahu's interview on Channel 12 News. I must say that I am very upset. 40 minutes of an entire interview about Bibi and nothing about the State of Israel. Israel must be before everything."
Responding to recent reports about allegations of improprieties in Israel's purchase of submarines from a German company, Gantz said, "I do not call the prime minister a traitor and I will not call him a traitor. I intend to appoint a state commission of inquiry to examine the process. This crosses all the boundaries. I do not know of any state secret that the chief of staff and the defense minister are not exposed to."
