J Street reacted to the recent statement by US President Donald Trump regarding the Gloan Heights.
"Trump’s recognition of Israeli sovereignty over Golan is a needlessly provocative move", J Street wrote in their official response. J Street claims that the recognition "defies international law and does not enhance Israeli security".
The official statement ended with a political message: "What it does enhance is Netanyahu's reelection prospects - & the timing suggests that's exactly Trump's intent".
