In a post on Twitter, Chairman of the Kulanu party and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon praised Trump's statement in regards to the Golan Heights, writing:
"The American intention to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights is an important achievement for the State of Israel. Our neighbor knew that reality was determined in practice and that there was a price to refuse to recognize Israel."
