Two military scouts have been sentenced to two years in prison and eight months, respectively, following their recent conviction in a plea bargain in the violent robbery of Palestinian Authority residents at the Meitar checkpoint who did not have permits to be in other parts of Israel, according to Israeli public radio.
One of the soldiers hit the victims and pointed his weapon at them and at an Israeli who approached the scene and called the police, while the other robbed them of hundreds of shekels.
