Attorney General Dr. Avihai Mandelblit submitted an opinion to the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee regarding the request for the list of right-wing parties to change the list of candidates following the disqualification of Dr. Michael Ben-Ari.
The Attorney General writes the request should be rejected, since the Central Elections Committee is not authorized to change the order of the candidates on the list of candidates submitted to it, although it may be argued that another legal arrangement would be preferable, as it is, there is no legal possibility of granting the request in this matter.
