Maariv reported that On Tuesday, the Israeli Prison Service transferred some 100 Hamas prisoners, including senior Hamas officials, between prisons in light of the events that took place last night in the Ketziot, Ramon and others prisons. This comes after prisoners in the Hamas wings in the prisons set fire to 10 cells following the emplacement of a phone signal blocker in the wing to combat the entrance of illegal cell phones into the prison.
IPS is pushing to have the rioters punished with the most stringent sentences possible.
