Chairman Aryeh Deri of the Sephardic haredi-religious Shas party told an election conference in Tiberias on Monday evening that if the Supreme Court disqualified Doctor Michael Ben Ari from the April 9th Knesset elections, it should have disqualified Blue and White leader Yair Lapid, based on Lapid's comments about the religious and haredi population.
Against the backdrop of contention between the haredi community and Tiberias Mayor Ron Kobi, who has been dubbed "The Troll of Tiberias", Deri said about Lapid, "In addition to the Troll of Tiberias, there's the Troll of the State, who is more dangerous."
