Yehuda Wilk, Israel's 13th police commissioner, was laid to rest on Monday in the old cemetery in Raanana, with thousands in attendance, including former and present senior members of the police.
Wilk served in the police between 1971 and 1994. He returned as commissioner at the beginning of 1998 and served until the end of 2000. Following his retirement, he was appointed the executive director of Derech Eretz, which operates Highway 6 and other transportation projects. He is survived by his wife and three children
