Attorney Yitzhak Bam, who represented Doctor Michael Ben Ari in a Supreme Court hearing, has responded to the court's decision to disqualify Ben Ari from the April 9th Knesset election by saying, "It is indeed regrettable that those who gave Azmi Bishara and Hanin Zoabi entrance to the Knesset before and after the Marmara incident disqualified Ben Ari."
This is a violation of the democratic process and I hope that the next Knesset will limit the power of the Supreme Court to harm the democratic process and will eventually enable the voters, not the judges, to decide."
