Yisrael Beyteinu Chairman MK Avigdor Liberman responded to the effigy in the form of a haredi IDF soldier in the Mea Shearim neighborhood.
"I strongly condemn this disgraceful display and call on the police to fully enforce the law with inciters against uniformed men.
"Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who is also Defense Minister, is silent in light of this shocking incident, because he doesn't want to upset the haredim ahead of the elections, and he and the Likud are now responsible for the radicalization among the haredim because of their silence and inaction. "We're the only party in a right-wing government that'll take care to stop this worrisome trend," he added.
