Chairman of the Zehut Party Moshe Feglin responded to the Rocket attack on the Tel Aviv Metropolitan area saying:
"The rocket is not the enemy, Hamas and its allies - and anyone who tries to harm Israel - are the enemy and must be destroyed."
"The reality in the south is not fate ... The reality in the south is the result of a failed policy by members of the Israeli government ... We understand that the full plan called for by Zehut will be difficult to implement from the standpoint of a coalition partner, even in a right wing goverment under Netanyahu. With that said, if Israel sends troops into Gaza - Zehut will support the move, provided that the goal is clear - the complete destruction Hamas and the return of the situation on the ground to the reality that prevailed in the area before the Oslo Accords. "
