Thursday is the memorial day for fallen Israel Defense Forces soldiers whose resting places are unknown, based on the anniversary on the Hebrew calendar of the death of biblical figure Moses, whose final resting place is unknown.
The official state ceremony is scheduled this morning at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem with the participation of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin.
