Kan reported that Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (New Right), former Supreme Court president Naor, and senior members of the Judicial Appointments Committee, testified to the police in regards to the appointment of judges.

The report said that Shaked and Naor testified to the police in the Effi Naveh affair (suspicion that he accepted sex from a candidate in exchange for an appointment).

The two testified that Adv. Efi Naveh did not update them regarding a conflict of interest or his ties, if any, with the candidate for a judge or with the person close to the judge. The report states that at this stage it appears that the case against the lawyer will be closed.
