MK Oded Forer (Yisrael Beiteinu) responded on Facebook to the Supreme Court hearing to disqualify Ofer Kassif.
"I was ashamed to hear the Attorney General's representatives defending in the Supreme Court one who claims that Israel should not be a Jewish and democratic state, that the Law of Return, the flag, and the anthem should be annulled, and who calls for granting the right of return to the Palestinians and at the same time states that harming soldiers isn't terrorism, that Hamas is a political party, that the Chief of Staff is a war criminal, and that we need to wipe out with a heavy hand Jews ascending the Temple Mount.
"Ignoring the Basic Law of the Knesset in such cases opens the door to those who seek our evil, like Kasif who shouldn't enjoy the benefits of Israeli democracy only in order to destroy it."
