Israel Railways says that "despite the Histadrut announcement, the workers' committee continues sanctions and harms the passengers."
In the last hour, several locomotive drivers called in "sick" within minutes of each other.
"If the illegal steps by the committee continue, there'll be no choice but to cancel passenger trains," the railway administration said.
