On instructions from the police, the Haemek Train Line has reopened between Beit She'an and Afula, and the railroad traffic is gradually returning to normal, following the death of a person who was hit by a train.
Israel Railways reported that an automatic compensation procedure was activated for the train passengers who delayed by the incident. The procedure is currently operating as a pilot program.
