The Southern District Attorney's Office informed the Be'er Sheva District Court on Monday that it was withdrawing an indictment in the case of Ashraf Salayma of eastern Jerusalem, who was accused of planning a terror attack on a hotel in Eilat, according to Yediot Ahronot.
The move came after the court's acquittal of Salayma's "partner", Khalil Nimri in late 2017, when the court harshly criticized the Shin Bet Israel Security Agency's interrogation methods, which led to Nimri's false confession.
