The official value of the shekel rose an average of .132 shekels on Monday, against most of the currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.621, down .275 percent from Friday, while the Euro rose .098 percent to 4.0723 shekels, and the pound sterling was set at 4.7064 shekels, down .989 percent, reflecting activity on Friday after Israel set its rates.
