The chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces has decided to dismiss the commander of a reconnaissance battalion in the Paratroopers Brigade because of the January 7th drowning of soldier Evyatar Yosefi in Nachal Hilazon during a training exercise.
Four more commanders will be dismissed due to the incident. The commander of the Paratrooper Brigade, Colonel Yaki Dolf, received a command reprimand.
