Chairman Bezalel Smotrich of the National Union and member of the Union of Right-wing parties sharply criticized, Sunday, the New Right Party, headed by Ministers Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked.
Addressing National Service girls from the Ezra youth movement, Knesset member Smotrich said, "Bennett wants our votes without being committed," adding, "All of Naftali and Ayelet's move was to break free of the commitment to religious Zionism, and their feeling is that religious Zionism is something small, marginal, ineffectual and kind of millstone on their necks. You have to be a sucker to vote for someone who is not committed to you."
