The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against a 29-year-old resident of the city for attacking his one-and-a-half-year-old son.
The indictment indicates the defendant pinched his son, bit him, and shook him hard from the time he was one month old. In addition, when he put his son to sleep, the defendant would press on the toddler's neck until he lost consciousness for a few seconds and stopped crying.
The indictment was filed for assaulting a minor under aggravated circumstances, and assault and abuse of a minor by the person responsible.
