Police were summoned to the Gilo neighborhood in southern Jerusalem yesterday following a report from a young man who had an argument with another young man he did not know, who at one point sicked his dog on him causing the complainant injury. Then the suspect fled the scene with others.

The police quickly arrested the suspect in his home in the neighborhood. A Pitbull dog, defined as dangerous, was also found in the suspect's home and was taken to a quarantine by the veterinary service summoned to the site.

Sicking an attack dog on a person is legally equivalent to shooting him with a gun.
