Prof. Karnit Flug, who recently served as a Bank of Israel Governor, has joined the senior staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and will serve as a full professor in the Department of Economics.
"I am honored to be inducted as a member of the senior staff of the Hebrew University, and it is particularly exciting for me to return to the university where I began my professional career," she said.
"As part of the course on the Israeli economy I will be teaching in the next academic year, I will be able to integrate an analysis of the development of Israel's economy on the basis of economic theory with the experience I have accumulated in managing economic policy in my various positions at the Bank of Israel," Flug added.
