The police will ask the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court today to extend the detention of a resident of Mazkeret Beiti, who is suspected of threats sent via the social network to Knesset member Stav Shafir of the Labor Party.
The suspect was arrested yesterday after an investigation pointed to him as the one who allegedly threatened Shafir.
