Representatives of the Arab Balad party have announced that they will boycott Wednesday's Central Election Committee hearing on a petition by the Likud Party and Doctor Michael Ben Ari of the Otzma Yehudit Party to disqualify the Balad-Raam list from running in the Knesset.
The representatives called the hearing "a political show". On Monday, Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit said there was no reason to disqualify any Arab party.
