A hearing will be held in the military court at the Ofer camp on an appeal against the decision to convict the terrorist who stabbed Nirit Zmora in October 2015 only on a charge of causing aggravated injury and not attempted murder. According to the judges it was impossible to prove that the terrorist's intention was to murder.
Attorney Haim Bleicher, who is representing Nirit as a crime victim, said, "In many cases of terrorists who come to murder, the terrorists are represented by Palestinian Authority lawyers, some of whom recently were recently discovered to be terrorists themselves, who teach the defendants to tell fabrications. The situation has been created in a number of cases of brutal attacks, which, according to the current method, as of now, the terrorists will be acquitted."
