A preliminary investigation into the terrorist attack in the village of Nima in the area of the Ephraim Regional Brigade revealed that the terrorists threw Molotov cocktails earlier last night at a crossing near Route 443.
Other Molotov cocktails were found in the vehicle in which the terrorists carried out the attack.
During the night, IDF and Border Police forces arrested 16 wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activities, public terror and violent disturbances against civilians and security forces. The suspects were transferred for interrogation.
An IDF operation took place in the area of the Binyamin Brigade as part of the campaign against Hamas. During the operation IDF and Border Police soldiers arrested 11 Hamas terrorists.
