The Central Elections Committee confirmed, Sunday evening of a Shas Party petition against the Labor Party operating a free bus on the Jewish Sabbath in support of public transportation on the day of rest, according to Channel 13 Television.
Labor was ordered to pay 5,000 shekels in expenses to Shas. Labor said it will drive empty buses behind "Shabbes buses" to publicize its message.
