The State Prosecutor's Office informed the Supreme Court on Sunday that the investigation into the case of Welfare Minister Haim Katz, who was facing a hearing before an indictment, will be postponed after the elections to the 21st Knesset.
The state asked the court to reject a petition submitted by the Movement for Quality Government, which demanded that a decision on the case be made before the elections.
