In a post on Twitter, Gideon Saar (Likud) attacked Gantz for calling on Netanyahu to step down, writing:
"The demand from Gantz that Netanyahu should resign is a violation of the right to due process that also applies to the Prime Minister as a citizen of this country. The right to due process and the presumption of innocence are an important part of the law. It is too bad that Gantz was unable to surpass political considerations."
