Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon reported on Thursday that keys were handed over to 400 families who won lotteries for reduced-price housing under his ministry's Mechir Lemishtaken (Buyer's Price) program.
Writing on Twitter, Kahlon said, "I do not want to call them wolves, but large groups of people in the construction market are waiting for the day that this plan stops and disappears. If this happens, housing prices will jump by dozens of percentage points and the dream of an apartment for tens of thousands of young families will return to being just a dream."
