Channel 13 Television reports Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political bureau, has returned to Gaza after a few-week visit to Cairo.
Hamas sources told the Al-Akhbar newspaper that Haniyeh returned without four Hamas members held in Egypt, and without a round of political talks, progress on Palestinian Authority reconciliation or an agreement that would improve Gaza's economic situation.
