In an interview with India Today National General Secretary of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ram Madhav discussed India's airstrike on targets in Balakot, Pakistan. Madhav stated that:
"We have joined the League of countries like Israel for securing our national interests we have taken some major practical measures."
