Former Supreme Court President Aharon Barak says he is pessimistic about the future state of the Israeli judicial system.
"The rule of law, the gatekeepers, and the Supreme Court need protection, and their continued independent existence is not self-evident," Barak said at an Israel Democracy Institute event.
