The Sephardic rabbi of Argentina, Rabbi Yitzjak Saqa, claims that the level of anti-Semitism in Argentina is low and that the attack on the chief rabbi of the country on an anti-Semitic background is unusual.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, Rabbi Saqa said, "The society and the government in Argentina are not anti-Semites at all. There is a very high sensitivity in the Jewish community, but the attack is not a product of Argentina."
