Executive Vice President Martin Indyk of the Brookings Institution think tank responded on Tuesday to remarks made on Monday by Jared Kushner, senior United States presidential advisor, regarding the US peace plan for the Middle East.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, the former US ambassador to Israel and the Obama administration's special envoy to Israeli-Palestinian Authority negotiations said, "If the plan demands that Israel give up more than 70 percent of the West Bank, I find it difficult to believe that the right-wing government will be able to agree."
