The Ministry of Health has received a positive result for rabies from an unidentified dog that attacked a number of dogs yesterday in the community of Gan Ner in the Gilboa Council Region in northern Israel.
The ministry requests that anyone who has been in contact with the infected animal or a stray or has animals which may have come into contact to urgently approach the nearest health office or emergency facility to discuss preventative treatment.
