In a Post on Twitter, US Senator Chuck Schumer (D) attacked US President Donald Trumps meeting with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un, writing:
"Dear President Trump, the Singapore meeting gave Kim Jong Un legitimacy while undermining our policy of pressure and sanctions. Execute a serious diplomatic plan that can lead to full denuclearization for North Korea and a durable peace agreement."
