Member of Knesset Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism) called on the haredi-religious community to vote for UTJ, saying that a small number of voters plays into the hands of the left bloc.

Interviewed by Kikar Hashabbat, the Finance Committee chairman said, "We will turn to the entire haredi public, and not only to the haredi public, but to the traditional religious public. Last time, because of those who did not vote for us, Meretz put its mandate in the Knesset and Tamar Zandberg, who is today chairwoman of Meretz, instead of the mandate being ours."
