A group of Likud Central Committee members, key movement activists and New Likudniks submitted an urgent petition Thursday to the Likud court in order to prevent the Jewish Home candidate from being included in the Likud list.

The petition says the person who fills the 28th spot, secured for the choice of Prime Minister and Party Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu, will be "in effect, a Trojan horse, a candidate on behalf of another party, who is not a member of the Likud Party, is not committed to Likud values and is not expected to act in accordance with the Likud constitution."
