A group of senior experts in constitutional law sent a letter to the chairman of the Central Elections Committee on Thursday morning, telling him not to approve the positioning of the candidate of the Jewish Home Party in the secure 28th place on the Likud list of candidates for the April 9th Knesset election.
In their letter, the senior jurists claim "Our legal position is that the prime minister's commitment is illegal, contrary to public policy and has no legal implications."
