Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, for the first time, addressed suspicions that he had intervened in the psychiatric opinion of a pedophilia suspect Malka Leifer to prevent her extradition to Australia.
"I have a lot to say, even though I cannot say it. It was all for the public good, everything was according to the law," Litzman said at the opening of the new children's ward at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
